Congregation is synonymous with gathering, assembling in an assembly or collective of people to share professional opinions and practices resulting in a collective consensus on a relevant issue with representatives of various institutions in the country. Medical congresses have this main purpose, to present research and data to obtain a convergence of knowledge and then, to follow more updated for future activities.

The 15th Brazilian Congress of Adolescence, with the theme "The adolescents of the 21st century: have they changed or have we changed?" took place from May 23 to 25, 2019, in Sao Paulo, with the organization of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (SBP) and the Sao Paulo Pediatric Society (SPSP). It was an important example of the practice of gathering, sharing and multiplying knowledge regarding adolescent health in Brazil and Latin America. Also present were representatives of the Committee of Adolescence of the Latin American Association of Pediatrics, ALAPE: Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, El Salvador, Honduras, and PAHO (Pan American Health Organization). There was also the "Strengthening Families" forum on adolescence, with a letter produced and read to all congress participants by the teens themselves.

In total, more than 600 health professionals from all Brazilian states were present and 263 research papers were presented in posters or oral, with debates and comments on theory to professional practice. Even poetry asked for passage and we had medical poets reciting and cheering to all the congressmen. The topics presented were local, national and universal, since the AA-HA project of the WHO, about accelerating adolescent health actions, as well as pregnancy, drugs & alcohol, chronic diseases, digital health, vaccination, oral health, violence, sexual abuse, refugees and immigrants, gender issues with testimonials from Mothers for Diversity, among many others.

There were unique moments of meetings, congratulations and many hugs, as well as opportunities for new professionals to meet colleagues and their teachers. And so, discuss more possibilities for research, work and actions for prevention, treatment and monitoring of Adolescent Integral Health Care. Public policies and the need for more governmental actions to protect the adolescent & youth population were also discussed, with representatives of the Sao Paulo Health Department and the Ministry of Health, as well as the SBP-SPSP professionals present. Certificates of professional recognition were given to Dras. Maria Veronica Coates, Albertina Takiuti Duarte, Maria Ignez Saito and MonicaBorile, who deserved the applause of all for the relevant actions in the area of Adolescent Health.

And time does not stop... And more congresses are planned to take place in Barranquilla, Colombia, organized by CODAJIC, from 23 to 26 October 2019, and also in Costa Rica from 27 to 29 May 2020, and Next, we will have the International Congress in Lima-Peru, organized by IAAH (International Association for Adolescent Health) on November 5-7, 2020. Thus, we have every reason to gather, present and publish research on Adolescent Health, to divide and multiply everyone's knowledge! We need to keep the energy, enthusiasm and professional dedication, the teenagers deserve and the generations thank!
