Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submissions

Adolescência e Saúde welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, case reports, short opinions, and brief communications.

How to Submit

Authors should submit manuscripts via Scholar Manuscript, the dedicated online submission system. To access it, visit scholarmanuscript.com/Journals/adolsau.

If any issues arise with the system, manuscripts can alternatively be submitted as a single PDF via email to: editor@adolescenciaesaude.com

Editorial Policies

  • The overall similarity index of a manuscript, compared to previously published papers, must be below 20%.
  • Similarity with any single source should not exceed 2%.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Scope

Our journal publishes cutting-edge research in medicine with a special focus on pediatrics, perinatology, and child health. Additionally, we welcome studies in biomedical engineering, health informatics, AI applications in medicine, medical device development, and computational medicine.
