Abstract

This paper evaluates the utilization of Action Research (AR) as a strategic methodology to foster organizational change, knowledge acquisition, and workforce engagement within medium-sized Indian firms between 2023 and 2025. Employing a three-stage, mixed-methods action research design across the service, IT, and retail industries, this investigation assesses empirical data collected before and after the intervention through statistical and thematic analysis. The findings demonstrate statistically significant advancements in organizational learning capacity (Cohen's d = 0.65), employee engagement levels (r = 0.58, p < 0.01), and agile leadership practices. Ultimately, this research offers a verified, culturally attuned AR framework alongside actionable strategies for implementing participatory inquiry within fast-evolving corporate landscapes.
