Keywords:
healthcare services, health services, health management, health services managementAbstract
This study aimed to analyze scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025 in the Scopus and Scielo databases, with a focus on health services management. A total of nine articles from these databases were selected and reviewed. Health services management is a complex field that faces various challenges depending on the context and the approach of each study. Although scientific literature on the topic is abundant in databases such as Scopus, its access and dissemination may be limited in other sources like Scielo, which impacts the generation of accessible knowledge. The reviewed studies highlight that efficiency in hospital administration not only depends on process optimization and the adoption of technologies but also on equity in service distribution and the integration of healthcare personnel. Additionally, training, the use of evidence in decision-making, and strategies to improve patients' quality of life are key factors, though their implementation varies according to the priorities of each health system.
