Background: Antibiotics are a valuable therapeutic option for the treatment of infectious diseases, including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). However, it is imperative to monitor the administration of antibiotics to prevent antibiotic resistance and improve therapeutic efficacy. Objectives: The objective of this investigation is to evaluate the efficacy of antibiotic therapy and the antibiogram profile. Method: This study employs a cross-sectional approach, collecting data retrospectively from medical records and analyzing it statistically using multivariate tests. Results: The findings suggest that the administration of therapy has a substantial effect on the use of antibiotics in COPD patients. Conclusion: The utilization rates of Ceftriaxone and Cefixime are the highest, as indicated by the DDD/100 patient days analysis. Therefore, it can be inferred that the administration of antibiotics aligns with the recommended treatment guidelines for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Downloads
