Abstract

Abstract: Knowing the epidemiological profile of female adolescent offenders between 12 and 18 years of age in conflict with the law and serving socio-educational measures in a judicial institution in the city of Rio de Janeiro will provide not only the basis for resocialization measures, but also public health and educational projects for this social stratum, composed of victims of violence and victimizers of society. The results indicate that risk factors for sexually transmitted diseases are multiple, and therefore there should be a multidisciplinary approach in the care of female adolescent offenders. Abstract: The purpose of knowing the epidemiologic profile of female adolescent offenders between 12 and 18 of age serving rehabilitation time in a detention center in Rio de Janeiro will provide basis for resocialization methods as well as for health and public education projects to that part of our society, victims of violence and offenders.
