Project Adolescentro: experience and meanings

Abstract

The present article is made a list to the activities developed by the project Adolescentro of the University Centre Celso Lisboa (CEUCEL), turned to young persons and resident adolescents in communities in I tip over of the UCL. In the perspective of developing actions of promotion of the health and stimulating the social protagonismo, it looks to contribute socially to the progress civilizatório of the communities. The project has 25 set up adolescents, of whom 16 participated of all the stages. The objective to identify the difficulties in the processes of promotion of the health, with emphasis in the social protagonismo, prioriza the interpersonal relations of young persons and adolescents when cultural partner is making a list of the difficulties. It the question is qualitative inquiry not experimental the type observacional, following the social approach of Minayo. The analysis observacional tells to itself to the annotation of the behavior in the conditions in which he takes place in natural environment. Being the adolescence a transition period, this project dit discussed the crises and conflicts survived by adolescents, be in the familiar or social extent. The challenge moved the adolescents for the beginning of responsibility it is a co-responsibility for acting in the community where they reside, in way to stimulate the taking decision, where they could multiply informations on promotion of the health. This project made possible the social integration and development that led to changes comportamentais.
