Abstract

Adolescents with asthma are a group of patients with problems and different needs compared with children and adults.
The current national and international consensus about the disease pose little guidelines specifi cally targeting this age
group. This article aims to achieve a non-systematic review, highlighting issues of importance to approach the diagnosis
and treatment of asthma in adolescence.
