Mozambique is located in South of Africa, with 21 million inhabitants. The birth rate tax around 41/1.000. The country is growing 8.3%
per year. Main health problems are children and adolescent diseases including HIV/IDS, sexual and physical abuse, poor access to health information and nutrition are some of the facts described in this paper. Objective: Description of the health situation of children and adolescent in Mozambique. Methods: This study is based on some governmental data, national and international NGOs and Unites Nations reports and scientific articles. Result: In Mozambique are implementing the plan to protect children of violence, sexual exploration and Orphan and Vulnerability. Around 1.6 million inhabitants have HIV/IDS, 58% are women and 5% are children with less of 5 years and 17% without health service; 35% of woman declared they were beaten by the husband or other member of family; 16% were married before 15 years. 20% of girls declared the sexual abuse is a problem at school; 1.000 women and children per year are trafficated to South Africa Country and 32% of children (7-17 years) are involved in illegal economic activities. In 2003 49% of children lived in absolute poverty. Conclusion: Nevertheless of effort of the govern to create better conditions through the ratification sign international to children protect and effort of all non governation organization, ONU, private sector, community organization, academics and all society are called to do more to contribute to improve the actual scenario of children and adolescent in Mozambique.
