Abstract

Background: Development of pediatric nutrition has the great impact on child development and milestones. Good nutrition in childhood is a vital part of physical development, development of the brain, and health of the child, and poor nutrition may contribute to poor growth and developmental stunts. Objective: This paper seeks to discuss the effects of new technological development in pediatrics nutrition on the growth patterns and developmental outcomes of children. Methodology: Cross-sectional study design was utilized using data gathered through the use of data collected in pediatric health records and caregiver surveys. Statistical analysis was done to compare the nutritional intake, growth indicators and developmental milestones with the help of correlation and regression analysis. Findings: The findings demonstrate that the children on balanced and nutrient-enriched diets demonstrate 28% difference in growth parameters (height and weight) and 22% difference in cognitive and motor abilities. Also, early nutritional interventions decreased the cases of malnutritional complications by about 25. Conclusion: Developments in pediatric nutrition are key to enhancing growth and development in children. Early nutritional programs and dietary balanced nutrition should be propagated to maximize child health.
