Background: New trends in mobile healthcare delivery such as; telemedicine, integrated care delivery models and digital health technology are changing the delivery of healthcare services provided to children. These innovations are designed to enhance accessibility, efficiency and quality care. Objective: This paper will look at the current trends in the delivery of health services to children and discuss if they have contributed to improving the health of children. Methodology: Recent literature on digital health and its capabilities in the prevention of children were systematically reviewed (20182025). In pediatric groups, peer-reviewed articles, policy reports, and clinical studies on digital health and its capabilities were analyzed. Findings: The findings reveal that telehealth interventions enhanced the access to care by about 25% especially in isolated and under-privileged settings. The rate of early diagnosis of chronic diseases was increased by 18% by integrated care models. Further, the use of digital monitoring devices also helped in improved management of the disease, with hospital readmissions decreasing up to almost 15 percent. A difference in access of technology is a concern, however. Conclusion: The emerging trends of healthcare delivery lead to a significant improvement in the healthcare outcomes of pediatrics, as it increases access, coordination and quality of care. Maximizing these benefits requires addressing technological inequalities and making sure that they are implemented in an equitable manner.
