Methodology: The study was designed as a cross-sectional analytical study of mothers and babies. Mothers' mental health was evaluated using validated screening instruments in pregnancy and post-partum. Data on infant birth weight and development were collected and statistically evaluated. Conclusion: Maternal and infant health is affected by perinatal mental health Images: Early recognition and treatment can decrease negative impacts and enhance developmental outcomes.
