Emotional instability, social, and risk-taking behaviors, as well as academic concerns, are the main indicators of adolescent behavioral challenges, which are increasing in number and pose a serious problem related to the health of the population. Preventive healthcare and family-based counseling Preventive healthcare programs, and family-focused pediatric counseling have become central to the concept of positive behavioral development and enhancements in the well-being of adolescents through collective participation of healthcare providers and family members. The goals of the study were to assess the efficacy of family-centered pediatric counseling and preventive care interventions to deal with behavioral issues in adolescents and to analyze the experiences of healthcare professionals in offering such interventions. The research also evaluated outcomes of behavior by the use of Behavioral Improvement Score (BIS) as the main measurement level. The research design used was a quantitative one where adolescents aged between 12 and 18 years, healthcare professionals, and other family members participated. Information was gathered using behavioral assessment questionnaires, surveys of healthcare professionals experience and evaluations of family involvement. The participants were subjected to systematic family-based counseling and preventive health care education. Pre- and post-intervention behavioral outcomes were measured, followed by statistical analysis which included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results provided evidence of considerable changes in the behavior outcomes of adolescents after joining counseling and preventive care programs. Increased Behavioral Improvement Scores were correlated with increased family engagement, good counseling practices, and involvement in preventive healthcare activities. Significant positive reports were made by healthcare professionals about intervention effectiveness and family involvement. Pediatric counseling and preventive healthcare services based on family orientation play important roles in enhancing the outcome of behavior among adolescents. Close cooperation between adolescents, families and healthcare professionals will promote the effectiveness of interventions and long-term behavioral and psychosocial outcomes.
