Abstract

Background: Pediatric infectious diseases remain a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide despite substantial progress in immunization programs. Disease prevention strategies are not without their limitations, such as incomplete vaccination, delayed immunization, and inadequate monitoring systems. New technologies for vaccine delivery and monitoring could lead to better immunization outcomes and public health surveillance.  Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of advanced vaccine delivery systems and digital monitoring technologies in improving the prevention of pediatric infectious diseases and the management of vaccination.  Methodology: We conducted a prospective observational study in 300 pediatric patients ranging in age from 0 to 15 years. Implement advanced vaccine delivery methods, such as microneedle patches and smart vaccine tracking. Data on vaccination status, adverse events, and immunization adherence were collected over a 12-month period using digital monitoring platforms. Findings: The results showed an increase in vaccination adherence from 74.2% to 93.5%. Missed vaccinations decreased 41.8% and immunization record accuracy increased to 96.7%. The monitoring system achieved an accuracy of 94.8% in tracking and caregiver satisfaction was 92.4%. Additionally, rates of vaccine-preventable infections decreased by 31.6% over the study period.  Conclusion: Advanced vaccine delivery and monitoring technologies can significantly enhance pediatric immunization coverage, improve adherence, and promote effective disease prevention. Such technologies offer a promising approach to strengthen pediatric health systems and reduce the burden of infectious diseases.
